We are pleased to announce that Our Mobile Health is now on G-Cloud 9 within the Digital Marketplace, having been awarded this by the Crown Commercial Service.

This enables any public sector organisation to procure our cloud software service: our online, tailored library of rigorously assessed health apps. Our G-cloud entry is available to view here on the Digital Marketplace.

We aim to ensure that the NHS, public health, local government and other public sector organisations can offer the very best digital health and wellbeing interventions - from weight management and increased exercise to supporting the management of mental health and long term conditions, as well as helping people remain in their homes or be managed more effectively in the local community rather than being admitted to hospital.

Our Mobile Health uses a rigorous assessment method that is safe and secure and fully in line with NICE guidance. Our Mobile Health has worked with NHS England, NHS Digital, NICE and Public Health England to develop this process, which is now the industry standard.

This means that doctors, nurses and other clinicians can use our services with confidence and help to drive up adoption of digital health and wellbeing apps, increasing recommendations and prescribing.

We are really pleased to support the "Women in Computer Science" event, taking place tomorrow evening at Imperial College London.
AI and computer science are creating transformation in many industries, especially healthcare, but the UK currently has the lowest percentage of female computer engineering professionals in Europe.
Five inspirational women will give short presentations to a new generation of potential pioneers in this field. The speakers are:
  • Wendy Tan, MBE, General Partner, Entrepreneur First, Co-Founder and CEO, Moonfruit, Board Trustee Alan Turing Institute
  • Dr Sharon Goldwater, University of Edinburgh School of Informatics, BCS Roger Needham Award 2016
  • Dr Sabine Hauert, Lecturer in Robotics, University of Bristol, President & Co-founder, Robohub
  • Dr Holly Cummins, Technical Lead, IBM Bluemix Garage London
  • Maxine Mackintosh, Co-founder and Director, One HealthTech, Data Science PhD student, UCL
You can register for tickets for this free event taking place on International Women in Engineering Day.

Delivering Quality Apps for Clinical Care

We are really excited to be part of the Financial Times (FT) Digital Health Summit Europe, taking place in London on 27 June 2017.

In the clip below, David Crow, FT's Senior US Business Correspondent, mentions why he's thrilled to have our own Julie Bretland speaking at the summit:
Julie is part of the panel who will speak on, "Plug and Play Healthcare: An ecosystem accessible for all demographics".

The panel will discuss digital skills training, IT infrastructure and interoperability. They’ll also be analysing outcomes from the NHS’ Wachter Review – and we suspect some of the latest cyber challenges, data governance and election angles.

This year, the FT Digital Health Summit will look at the challenges of transformational trends in the healthcare industry and will map the route to a digitally-driven healthcare ecosystem.

Alongside Julie, there are other Digital Health leaders taking part, including Juliet Bauer, Director of Digital Experience for NHS England, and Beverley Bryant, Director of Digital Transformation at NHS Digital.

It’s going to be an enlightening event - there are still some places available so we recommend you book now.
